To strengthen its academic consortium between various international academic organizations and institutions, Batangas State University, Shanghai University of Electric Power (SUEP) and Shanghai Electric Power Construction Company (SEPC) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on July 9, 2018 at the Function Hall, 7th Floor, CIRTC Building, BatStateU Pablo Borbon Main I, Batangas City. The partnership intends to provide opportunities for faculty members and students to actively participate in educational programs and practices among the three organizations in the areas of academic, administrative and professional development.
The scope of activities indicated in the MOU includes, exchange of students for study and training programs, exchange of staff for research, lecture and discussion, exchange of academic information, research publication and other    resources, enrolment of suitable qualified students into appropriate programs for both undergraduate and postgraduate study, joint staff development programs, shared curriculum development activities, collaborative research, joint laboratory, internship/OJT (On Job Training) of the students, and employment of graduates.
