Property and Supply Management Office
The Property and Supply Management Office (PSMO) is primarily responsible of the distribution, disposition, storage and inventory of all the properties of the University.
Section 2 of Presidential Decree No. 1445 known as The State Auditing Code of the Philippines states that “all resources of the government shall be managed, expended or utilized in accordance with law, rules and regulations and safeguarded against loss or wastage through illegal or improper disposition with the view of ensuring economy, efficiency, and effectiveness in the operation of the government.” The realization and implementation of this state policy rests primarily with the head of the government agency. Thus, the government officer entrusted with the possession or custody of the funds and property by the head agency shall be immediately responsible to the head of agency without prejudice to the liability of either party of the government.
The PSMO continues to deliver all of its services to the needs of students, faculty, employees and other University stake holders. The office is committed to the development and improvement to help attain the mission and vision of the University.
The Property and Supply Management Office (PSMO) is committed to manage, expend and utilize, safeguard against loss or wastage through illegal or improper disposition of all the properties of the university.
The following are the control flow being observed by the office:
- inspection and verification of delivered products;
- requested supplies are issued and acted upon;
- issuance to End-user;
- record supplies inventory;
- posting of equipment details to Property Card;
- issuance of Property Acknowledgement Receipt (PAR);
- documented disposal of property;
- renewal of registration and insurance of University Vehicle; and
- renewal of insurance of University Buildings and Other Structure.
