Research Capability Training Program: Phase II Calantas Senior/National High School, Calantas Rosario Batangas, December 10, 2019 Social Development Program and Adopt-a-School Program/ Technical Assistance and Advisory Program to Agencies, Organizations, Associations, and Other Groups The training was conducted last December 10, 2019 at Calantas Senior/National High School, Calantas, Rosario, Batangas. It was started by an invocation followed by the prayer lead by Mr. Johndel Del Mundo. Mr.Melvin Reyes, Faculty President of CSHS, gave his welcome remarks and a message from Mrs. Blancflor P. Arada, Associate Dean of CIT. The training was conducted by Mr. Philip D. Geneta, and Dr. Myra Bersoto. Hands-on activity was done at 1pm. Some of the highlights are discussion on research presentations and publications. Each components were discussed for easier understanding. Examples were also given. The trainings ended at 3pm, closing program was done after the training-workshop. Evaluation was also given by chosen participants on day 1. The last part of the training was the evaluation of each training components. The program was ended by the messages given by Dr. Anabel C. Banuelos and Dr. Rowena Ramirez. None
Seminar on Marketing Plan of ABM Students of Calantas National/Senior High School Calantas National/Senior High School Calantas, Rosario, Batangas. December 7, 2019 Social Development Program and Adopt-a-School Program/ Technical Assistance and Advisory Program to Agencies, Organizations, Associations, and other Groups On December 7, 2019, the Seminar on Marketing Plan of ABM Students of Calantas National/Senior High School was held. The said seminar was facilitated by Mr. Michael Q. Balanay, CABEIHM Rosario faculty member. The morning session focused on his talk while the afternoon session involved a workshop. The activity was attended and participated by 40 ABM students. Consequently, as the university is undergoing its accreditation of programs, the succeeding accreditation prescribes video recording and/or audio recording for its criteria indicators. Hence, with this, interviews with the beneficiaries of the extension services activities were done prior to the start and after the conduct of every activity. This shall serve as evidences and support to assess whether extension program activities met its intended outcomes. Mr. Balanay then comprehensively discussed his talk with two parts. He introduced discussions on the concepts on fundamentals in marketing management such as the 5C’s, segmentation, targeting of customers, packaging, and other relevant and significant concepts. During his talk, he made use of certain available items or products so that he could easily illustrate and exemplify the concepts he was then tackling to the ABM students. The afternoon session was then allotted for the workshop, whereby the students were taught on how to make Marketing Plan as well as product presentation showing segmentation, targeting and packaging application on various products they were challenged to present with. After the seminar- workshop ended, the students were asked to evaluate how the activity was facilitated to them. Also, several students were interviewed and videographed for documentation purposes. The evaluation and interview assessed the level and extent of the students’ learning on the said seminar. None
Calantas National High School Computerized Enrollment System with Monitoring Calantas Senior/ National High School, June 14, 2019 Adopt-a-School Program/Technology Transfer, Utilization and Commercialization Program The training was conducted last June 14, 2019 at Calantas Senio/National High School, Calantas, Rosario, and Batangas. It was started by an invocation followed by our National Anthem. Messages were given right after. Dr. Rowena Ramirez, Head of CSHS, gave her welcome remarks and a message from Mr. Bryan M. Macasaet, ESO Coordinator of CIT. The training was conducted by Mr. Mories J. Guinto, together with students from the department, on tips, theories, and fundamentals on the said device. Hands-on activity was done at 1pm. Some of the highlights are discussion on its functions, maintenance and other necessary functions on the system. Each interface were discussed for easier understanding on the system. Questions were also entertain for the convenience of the beneficiaries. The trainings ended at 4pm, closing program was done after the training-workshop. Evaluation was also given to the participants. None
Training in the Utilization of Solar – Powered Coin – Operated Wi-Fi and Charging Station for Male and Female Faculty Members and Students of Calantas Senior/High School Calantas Senior/ National High School, April 5, 2019 Technology Transfer, Utilization and Commercialization Program The training was conducted last April 5, 2019 at Calantas Senio/National High School, Calantas, Rosario, Batangas. It was started by an invocation followed by our National Anthem. Messages were given right after. Dr. Rowena Ramirez, Head of CSHS, gave her welcome remarks and a message from Mrs. Blancflor P. Arada, Associate Dean of CIT. The training was conducted by Mr. Christopher Castillo, Faculty Extensionist, on tips, theories, and fundamentals on the said device. Hands-on activity was done at 1pm. Some of the highlights are discussion on its functions, maintenance and other necessary functions on the device. Each components were discussed for easier understanding on the device. Questions were also entertain for the convenience of the beneficiaries. The trainings ended at 4pm, closing program was done after the training-workshop. Evaluation was also given by chosen participants. None
