BatStateU Alumna, Finalist in the 2016 Ten Outstanding Students of Philippines (TOSP) – Region IV – A

Ms. Jovell V. Violante , an alumna of Batangas State University, was named one of the finalists in the 2016 Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) – Region IV A during the awarding ceremonies on June 13 at the City Hall, Lipa City, Batangas.

A graduate of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Biological Science in BatStateU ARASOF – Nasugbu Campus, Ms. Violante was hailed as the University’s Third Most Outstanding Student. Her academic competence, strong leadership abilities, and admirable contributions to the society lead her to being a consistent Dean’s Lister, official representative to regional and national press conferences, an officer to various organizations. She has spearheaded worthwhile projects and activities reflecting her integrity and commitment to excellence.

As one of the finalists in TOSP – Region IV–A, Ms. Violante attended the Regional Formation Program on June 10 – 12. TOSP CALABARZON Search program has been recognizing young men and women who may be our nation’s future leaders.

During the awarding ceremonies, Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, BatStateU President and Dr. Lucille D. Evangelista, Director for Student Affairs and Services, received a plaque of recognition from TOSP Region IV-A.
