BatStateU is Top.4 in Petrobowl Championship


Team Batangas State University finished 4th out of 32 schools who competed in the PetroBowl Championship 2017 during the Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition 2017 (ATCE) held at San Antonio Texas, USA. They are the first Asia Pacific Team who qualified for the semi-finals. (Read More)


Food Engineering mentor, Fullbright scholar to conduct advanced research in Louisiana


With an awarded scholarship, a doctorate degree holder and Chemical & Food Engineering faculty is set to go overseas and conduct research under the Fulbright – Philippine Agriculture Scholarship Program (FPASP) for Advanced Research in Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Los Angeles on November 2017. ABET – EAC accredits six (6) engineering programs of BatSU


The six engineering programs of the College of Engineering, Architecture & Fine Arts (CEAFA) are now ABET-EAC accredited. The accreditation was given after the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET conducted an evaluation of the six programs last November 28 – 30, 2016. These programs, offered at Pablo Borbon Main II, are BS Chemical Engineering, BS Civil Engineering, BS Electronics Engineering, BS Electrical Engineering, BS Industrial Engineering and BS Mechanical Engineering. CHED designates BatStateU with Centers of Excellence and Development


The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) recognized the five programs of Batangas State University with Center of Excellence and Centers of Development during the awarding ceremony on May 17, 2016 at the CHED Auditorium, HEDC Building, UP Diliman Quezon City. BatStateU has been designated with Center of Excellence in Electronics Engineering and Centers of Development in Development Communication, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Teacher Education. ChE-FE faculty members granted CHED scholarships


A totalof 30 faculty and non-teaching staff of Batangas State University, three from the Chemical and Food Engineering Department, made it on their way to go on full-time study to earn their doctorate or master’s degrees with scholarship privileges given by CHED, which include tuition cost, stipend, book allowance, and transportation allowance. Project Horse Power is finalist in the 2016 Sikat Design Challenge


Team Crater of Batangas State University was invited for a “final pitch” of their Project Horse Power,a biomass power system designed for the Taal, Batangas community,during the “National Finals: Presentation and Awarding Ceremony” of the 2016 Sikat Design Challenge, held at the Conference Hall, 5/F Rockwell Business Center Tower 3, Ortigas, Pasig City, on July 13, 2017.
