BatStateU Junior Marketers bag six awards in the 12th Conference of Aspiring Marketing Professionals

Batangas State University’s BSBA major in Marketing Management students have won six awards in the 12th Conference of Aspiring Marketing Professionals (CAMP) organized by the Association of Marketing Educators of the Philippines, Inc.

Said conference featured six different competition categories for the students to showcase their knowledge and apply their marketing strategies and tactics for sponsoring companies.

BatStateU bagged awards in the following categories: Retail Plan (Champion) coached by Dr. Carmela S. Macatangay; Franchising Plan (Champion) coached by Ms. Jecamarie V. Pasay; Marketing Plan (First Runner Up) coached by Mr. Michael C. Lagaya; Digital Marketing Plan (Second Runner Up) coached by Dr. Nickie Boy A. Manalo; Webpage Design (Second Runner Up) coached by Mr. Jayson B. Reyes; and Marketing Quiz (Third Runner Up) coached by Dr. Irene H. Maralit.

Junior and senior BSBA students also attended the event to learn from the event’s resource speakers namely, Mr. Dustin Andaya of Island Rose, Ms. Adi Timbol Hernandez of McDonald’s Philippines and Ms. Princess Joy Garcia of the International Cabin Attendant Training School.

The conference was held on November 19, 2018 at the Filoil Flying V Arena, San Juan City with the theme, “Marketing Flashback Fastforward”.
