BatStateU faculty members ace ITHP- UK certification exam

Faculty members of Batangas State University’s International Hospitality Management Department from the College of Accountancy, Business, Economics, and International Hospitality Management (CABEIHM) registered a 100 percent passing rate in the recent certification exam given by the Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Professionals- United Kingdom (ITHP-UK) last August 11, 2018 at the University of Santo Tomas.

The ITHP-UK is one of the largest organizations in the world dedicated to strengthen the leadership skills of tourism and hospitality professionals.

Asst. Prof. Maria Theresa G. Abiad, Ms. Leonna Marrien U. Asi, Mr. Arnel M. Mendoza, Ms. April M. Perez, Asst. Prof. Elvic M. Sanchez, Ms. Ma. Glenda O. Casanova, Mr. Reynald Modesto D. Ilagan, Mr. Niño Michael B. Pagcaliwagan, Ms. Katherine T. Arellano, Mr. Elroy Joseph C. Valdez, and Ms. Sharmaine I. Brillo were among the eleven faculty members who have been awarded the professional designation of Certified Hospitality/Tourism Professionals.

Prior the exam, said faculty members attended a training boot camp co-hosted by the ITHP- UK and the Association of Administrators in Hospitality, Hotel and Restaurant Management Educational Institutions on August 10.
