The BatStateU Adaptive Capacity-building and Technology Innovation for Occupational Hazards and Natural Disasters (ACTION) Center will be hosting the 2018 ASEAN Conference and Exposition on Disaster Risk Management and Climate Change Adaptation (ACEDRMCCA) on July 25- 27 to be held at BatStateU, Pablo Borbon Main I, Batangas City.
The international conference, which carries the theme “Converging with the ASEAN Community in Managing Disaster Risks and Climate Change for a Resilient Community” will be graced by experts from different government agencies and BatStateU partner institutions. These experts will be sharing their knowledge, experiences and best practices in handling the increasing risk of natural and human-made disasters. Moreover, the conference will also raise public awareness on Disaster Risk Management that will help communities in mitigating the detrimental effects of hazards.
On the other hand, BatStateU President Tirso A. Ronquillo and the Advisory Board of ACEDRMCCA held a meeting in preparation for the upcoming event which took place at the Function Hall, 7th Floor, CIRTC Building, BatStateU Pablo Borbon Main I on July 5.
