BatStateU Holds 2018 Research Colloquium

To improve the quality and competitiveness of the University’s faculty members, Batangas State University held its 2018 Research Colloquium on March 26-27, 2018 at the 4th Floor of the CIRTC Building, BatStateU Pablo Borbon Main I, Batangas City.

The event commenced with a message from the Vice President for Research, Development and Extension Services, Assoc. Prof. Albertson D. Amante. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the University’s Faculty Researchers for their initiative in conducting high impact researches that will bring significant and positive effects to BatStateU. In addition, Engr. Amante also expounded how the University values such relevant researches.

The researches presented by faculty members from different BatStateU campuses focused on the fields of Natural Science, Social Science and Developmental (Engineering Innovations).

Meanwhile, external evaluators during the event were Dr. Jessie C. Elauria, Professor 12 from the Agricultural and Bio-Process Division, Institute of Agricultural Engineering, College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology, University of the Philippines, Los Baños (UPLB) and Dr. Marilyn M. Elauria, also a Professor from the Department of Agricultural Economics, College of Economics and Management, UPLB.

Furthermore, Dr, Romel U. Briones, Director for Research, Dr. Emil C. Alcantara, Director for Research Management Services, Engr. Cristina Amor M. Rosales, Asst. Director for Architecture, Engineering and Technology Research, Dr. Realiza M. Mame, Asst. Director for Education, Mathematics, and Social Science Research, Dr. Irene H. Maralit, Asst. Director for Entrepreneurial and Business Research, and Dr. Jodi Belina A. Bejer, Asst. Director for Management Information System and Publication also served as internal evaluators.
