BatStateU Tops Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination


Proving its expertise in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Batangas State University once again dominated and reached the top spot in the recent Mechanical Engineering Licensure Examination given last February 26 & 27, 2018. The University likewise was hailed as the Top Performing School with a passing rate of 99.15% surpassing a total of 149 schools.

Among the seven Red Spartan Graduates who entered the top 10 are; Kelvin Mendoza Macatangay (Rank 1), Efren Espino Suarez, Jr. (Rank 3), Emanuelito Abion Aristorenas (Rank 5), Hazel Joy Diola Veyra (Rank 6), Dyve Balbalosa De Ocampo (Rank 7), Adrian Danao Bautista (Rank 8), and Anna Rizza Regalado Ebreo (Rank 10).

In his heart-warming message to the ME Board Passers, Dr. Tirso A. Ronquillo, University President expressed, “Congratulations to our newest batch of Engineers! We are not only happy, but more than proud of everyone for conquering one of the toughest challenges of your lives, and contributing in the vision of the University in becoming a globally recognized institution. Your achievement reflects your dedication and cooperation with Batangas State University in the delivery of quality higher learning, and the development of productive Filipinos who will serve as leaders of the present and future generations. To our Mechanical Engineers of 2018, may you continue to soar higher in your journey. The Red Spartan family is proud of you!”

To acknowledge the joint efforts of the students, faculty members and everyone who contributed to the success, a thanksgiving mass was offered on March 7, 2018 at the College of Engineering, Architecture and Fine Arts (CEAFA) Building, BatStateU Pablo Borbon Main II, Alangilan, Batangas City officiated by Rev. Fr. Ricardo Echague.
