BATANGAS STATE UNIVERSITY’S 49th COMMENCEMENT EXERCISES

A total of 1,027 graduates are now ready to step in the corporate world equipped with the BatStateU Values and guided by the University vision-mission as they received their diplomas, certificates and awards in the Batangas State University’s 49th Commencement Exercises held at Gov. Feliciano Leviste Gymnasium, Main Campus I, Batangas City on August 25, 2017, 3:00 pm.

The theme is “Converging with the ASEAN Community in Fostering Global Quality Education.” The Guest of Honor and Speaker is Arch. Felino ‘Jun’ A. Palafox, Jr., the principal architect – urban planner and founding partner of Palafox Associates.

Arch. Palafox encouraged the graduates to continue education. He emphasized to learn and share so that one will become an expert. During his talk, he has shown several significant information about our country, urban planning and the transformation that we can look forward to through his ‘Postcards from the Future’ presentations that certainly made the audience excited towards its development. He also shared his learnings during his study at the Harvard University specifically a practice that we can also adopt. Its essence is to be reminded of the legacy that we are making and eventually leaving behind. He also added that if better is doable, do not just settle for good. He reiterated that one shall dedicate all that he does for God, for the Country and for the Planet Earth, “Pro Deo, Patria Et Terra.”

There are 38 graduates from the BaStateU Graduate Schools. There are 989 who finished their undergraduate programs from BatStateU Pablo Borbon Main I & II Batangas City, Balayan, Lemery, Nasugbu, Lipa City, Rosario and Malvar campuses.
