The inauguration of BatStateU Rosario’s newly constructed Student Services Center and facade on April 24, 2017 was led by Dr.Tirso A. Ronquillo with the members of the executive committee, VP for Admin and Finance Atty. Luzviminda C. Rosales,VP for External Affairs and ICT Services Prof. Rogelio Antenor, Alumni Regent Amando Plata, Student Regent Joey Espino, University Board Secretary Prof Enrico Dalangin, Director of Project Management Office, Engr. Antonio Gamboa and the Executive Director of Rosario and San Juan campuses, Atty. Edgard E. Valdez.
The Student Services Center is located at the south east corner of the campus with approximate floor area of 186.5 square meters. The building is fully furnished and utilized by different offices such as the campus’ clinic and speech laboratory, Guidance and Counseling, IACEPO, Scholarship, Alumni Affairs and Publication. The Sports and Culture Office, MAPEH and stock rooms are also housed in the said building. There is an installed 1hp split type air conditioner in each room and two comfort rooms allocated for the faculty members.
The campus’ facade, on the other hand is fully furnished from top to bottom with bricks on the front wall, tiles as flooring and stainless university logo and letterings. It is enclosed with sliding glass doors with built-in 2 lane smart card or ID reader. It has also an automatic boom or entrance bar for vehicle.
Dr.TirsoRonquillo in his speech appealed to the students to be stewards of the facilities that the University has provided. According to him, the University is doing all its best to provide the students of the facilities they all deserve.
The inauguration was held simultaneously with the BatStateU Rosario Colleges’ Week, a week-long celebration of triumph and success reaped by each college in the areas of academics, research and extension.
